In fairness to the original poster, it is possible that their kids arent in filesharing channels, but are seeing the spam that twits send in other channels to sucker ppl into accepting malicious files/clicking on urls. Of course, one would certainly hope that parents are aware that many files that are shared arent only a safety risk, but are illegal and explain that to their kids and not allow it.
