Hmmm. To my knowledge, mIRC only stores your mIRC registration info in the regestry which wouldn't harm your machine in any way/shape/form if you just manually deleted the mIRC directory.
If there's no option to uninstall mIRC via Add/Remove programs, this looks like your only option to me.
