Hi. I was wondering how should I uninstall mIRC 5.81, since I can't find it inside the Add/Remove Programs there?

Besides deleting the folder & also the shortcut, is there any registry settings or others to do? I really hope to know, because I want to perform a clean uninstall, without any 'unwanted' things in my registry! Thanks!

Hmmm. To my knowledge, mIRC only stores your mIRC registration info in the regestry which wouldn't harm your machine in any way/shape/form if you just manually deleted the mIRC directory.

If there's no option to uninstall mIRC via Add/Remove programs, this looks like your only option to me.

Did you install it on purpose, or did it just suddenly appear?

If you didn't install mIRC yourself, you most likely have a trojan or virus, see http://www.mirc.co.uk/help/virus.html for help.
