you can use the $compress and $decompress functions to quickly compress your channel list files.
//echo -a $compress(efnet.txt) will return '1' if it succeeds, and efnet.txt will be compressed.
like-wise for $decompress(efnet.txt)
I suppose now that mIRC supports zlib, a checkbox could be added to the Channel List dialog.
