Instead of the "View" menu and "More.." how about put that list at the left-hand side of the scripts editor, then when you highlight a file, it will show instantly inside the scripts editor.
Example:

The "Popups" editor could have the same formatting:

This would negate the need to going to menus to select different files to edit, the editing would be much quicker and easier to perform, since you would only need to "select" a new file to edit.
