I have a script that fully supports(send and receive) whispers for twitch on
GITHUB. It seemlessly transcodes twitch's whisper functionality into IRC-compliant PRIVMSG messages, both to send and receive. That means you use '/msg user message' to whisper a user, and can handle received whispers via 'on OPEN' or 'on TEXT'
