To reproduce the issue:
/server irc.quakenet.org
;connects to quakenet
//echo -a $server
;gives servercentral.il.us.quakenet.org
/dns servercentral.il.us.quakenet.org
;Dns resolved servercentral.il.us.quakenet.org to 66.225.225.66
//echo -a $serverip
;gives 255.255.255.255
What is expected:
