Just so you know, you can click on the word "edit" and edit your post within a couple hours of making the post so you dont need to make a new one to add something
To connect to a server, close the Connect window that opens when you open mIRC, and in the main window, type /server theserver.info.here like for a DALnet server you could type
/server mesra.kl.my.dal.net You can find a list of servers for NewNet network on their
web page An example for a connecting to a NewNet server would be typing
/server irc.eskimo.com irc.newnet.net would be /server irc.newnet.net and is NewNets "random". it didnt seem to want to work for me, so i would try one of the servers listed on their website.
