klines bans excepts Invites ect allow for "?" to specify a random char being there....... ignore needs that to block spam from specific host/ident/nick matches
ie spam from....
john!gjklsdhflgjk@4567457-ca.spammer.sucks
mat!fhdfg@4987457-ca.spammer.sucks
person3!outofnames@4q67a57-ca.spammer.sucks
then a mask like.... *!*@?????57-ca.spammer.sucks
would ignore just that user,
(those are bad example but ya get the idea)
