You guys are probably misusing the term buffering, if im not mistaken the buffer settings are how much is kept in memory (and thus availible in sroll backs) for each window. Disabling would mean nothing is availible, no scroll back. (although i guess if all the client is doing is logging then it doesnt really matter in that particular case)
