If your office is blocking you from using mIRC (or any program) then they must have a reason (probably because you should be working, not chatting online). mIRC requires Windows, although some people have said that it works well on Linux when used in conjunction with Wine.
Keygen and Crack programs are used to make other programs think that they are registered, which would breach the end users licence agreement, since you continue to use mIRC (or whatever program) as a registered program without paying for it.
