I'm using the latest version of mirc, and I have the 3 dll files listed in the faq in my mirc directory. I don't see the SSL button on the connection>options section. I did a format c: and reinstalled everything, but now I can't get this one little thing working. I'd rather not use a 3rd party app like stunnel. It doesn't make sense to do that for 2 reasons... 1. why install a 3rd party app as opposed to 3 simple to find dll's and 2. i did it once already, why go with a new method?
