i cant understand why mirc is doing /who on join it could be a script which is updating the ial when you join the channel, are you opped in any channel , could it be that you used to have any clone detection in your mirc ? by the sound of it, its what usually any clone checking script does... if you know then disable the script.. if not use /remote off and then see the difference...
