Hello I have a small prob with mirc! If I join a channel, mirc lists up all users (and their hosts) that are in this channel in my status window.

Usually no problem but if I connect with my BNC that "listing" from 20 channels take quite long (10 min)(In this time i cant do anything in mirc)

Can I eliminate that anyhow?

i cant understand why mirc is doing /who on join it could be a script which is updating the ial when you join the channel, are you opped in any channel , could it be that you used to have any clone detection in your mirc ? by the sound of it, its what usually any clone checking script does... if you know then disable the script.. if not use /remote off and then see the difference...

mIRC Options (ALT+O) > IRC > Options > 'Show: Nicks On Join'

nicks on join ? i thought so but that doesnt explain nicks with their hosts and ips ? or does it ?

It was one crappy clone script called pp (Protection Pro).

Now all works nice
