Ah, I see, no problem
The ping! pong? message you receive in Status (I think that's what you're referring to) is meant to be there - it's the server checking that you're alive, and you replying to tell the server that you are. You can hide this message via
ALT+O >
IRC >
Options and checking the box 'Hide ping! pong? event'.
However, if you are disconnecting, you need to tell us what the disconnection error message is. I feel that it's likely to be "Software caused connection abort" - in which case, see
this thread.
It's also a good idea to use the Search feature, located at the top of this forum, expand to 'All Forums' and 'All Posts' for best results. Lots of (and most of) error messages have been posted before and resolved.
