I have accidentaly clicked on the X button to close the program while I was using the script editor and I noticed that the script editor was closed (without saving changes) before mirc ask me "are you sure" etc.
The script editor should not be closed in this case.
Also, having an option in alt + o > Other > confirm related to the script editor when closing mirc would be good too.

The same goes for cancel or escape, by the way.

Personally I'd get annoyed by the babying of a program asking me "Are you sure?" (uhh, yes, I'm sure)... but to each his/her own I guess. Having it as an option would make everyone happy.

You seems to think that I'm requesting the "ask me" option, which in fact already exists, it just doesn't care about the script editor : the request is about people who would like to see mirc warn them only if the script editor is open.
This is just a request I added to the bug report because it's related
