Hey everyone,

First I am new to the forum and used the search option but did not find what I did want to find. My english is not that good but I am going to try to explain my problem.

I am running a bot on my pc which I have made, A few bots I have to say. Today I reached 100 channels on my bots but now I have a problem, When my bot is getting "INVITED" he cant join the channel, In my status tab I will get the error message: "* Error creating window"

I tought.. "Hmm wierd, lets run some bots on a other client.."
So I opened a new mirc and connected the bots I did wish to run on that mirc client. But hu? EXACTLY the same problem.. and I was only in a FEW channels..

The problem is.. My bot cant join new channels, and I can't join new channels or servers.

I have just found out, Some times I can join a new channel and somtimes I cant.. this makes the problem more wierd then it was already!

So my question: How is this possible, And how can I change it?
Because else.. I have a BIG problem! frown

Thanks for reading, I am waiting on your response smile

Try close some programs, then see if it still happens, i belive the bot (mirc) you have running using all the ram on your computer. So if you run anything else on it, then try turn it off, a big memory eater = MSN and ICQ..

I don't think the issue is actually RAM, but the number of window "handlers" that are allowed in Windows. I'm sure I have the wrong word there, but I am trying to pull this up from memory from a post over a year ago. Basically, only X number of windows can be opened in Windows (in mIRC and other programs combined).

Anyhow, if you have that many windows open for a bot, my guess is that you're probably doing something you shouldn't be doing.

If it's a windows limit, you can't do anything, if it's a mIRC limit, you can ask to increase the limit but since it look like a window limit, the only thing that you can do is to rewrite your bot with socket smile

you could prob find a way to change the number of windows somewhere

also, there is a feature(idk if this was posted) in the options that shows how many channels/windows can be opened. try disabling that and see if it works

I don't have any problem, just answer to the right person...
And there isn't an option like you describe.
