When you search in the editor (I use f3 with the find/replace dialog closed), with a new match found, mIRC always auto scrolls to 'center' the line which has the match (more like it puts the line at the top of the visible area). This can be frustrating, could it be changed to not scroll if the line having that match is already sufficiently visible ?
To see what I mean, start from an empty editbox and fill each line by its number (1 to 80 should be enough) and then insert a line on line 13:
"1
2
3
...
12
$reg $reg $reg
13
...
80"
Search for "$reg" and then scroll up to the top before searching again, it will scroll down with the first visible line being line 9 instead of keeping the currently scroll with line 1 visible.
It looks intentional so I posted here, but as far as I'm concerned it's pretty annoying and a bug.
