Hello mIRC developers

I wanted to suggest, to make mIRC auto-get the nick/user for DCC send to whom I am currently talking with IN the query window or DCC chat (current/active) window.

Whenever I'm trying to send a file, I have to copy/paste the nickname. It would be cool if mIRC could auto-get the nick/user from the current/active/open query/DCC chat window and I only select the file to send.

How is that?

Sounds good though I've never needed it. Currently you can use the right click popup, or type /dcc send followed by the first letter of the nick then TAB to autocomplete.

You can also use an alias that will automatically append the nick to a /dcc send command in a chat window:
