Forums mIRC Help pasting just plain text

Hi,
I was wondering how, after copying a piece of formatted (e.g. colored) text from another window, how I can simply paste the text only without having to paste all of the formatting stuff along with it.
For example,
I copy the following text which happens to be yellow text on a gray background from another window:
!PitchBlaq Beatfreakz---Somebodys Watching Me.mp3
However, when I paste it into the channel window, it comes up as:
8,14!PitchBlaq Beatfreakz---Somebodys Watching Me.mp3

I know I can just delete the characters before and after the bit that I want, but it starts to get annoying after the 100th time doing this...

Try to mark the text with your mouse - that means hold the left mouse button, mark the text you want to copy, and then release the mouse button again. (its done without pressing Ctrl+C )

mIRC is rather strange when it comes to certain things like this.
