Do you mean when you copy text from message windows or from logs? If you're copying from windows it shouldn't copy the color codes too. Just the text. If you want to disable codes, go to Options (Alt+O), IRC, Messages and under "Strip code from incoming messages" check Bold, Underline, Color and Reverse.

If you want to strip them from logs go to Options (Alt+O), IRC, Logging and check "Strip codes".

To Copy & Paste In Mirc: Hold down the left mouse button, drag the mouse across what you want to copy (no need to press copy) The highlighting will go out, but will still work.
the colour codes will only be copied if you hold down Ctrl while highlighting

hope this fixes it for ya ;o)

pressing that will still return the colors in mirc.

You need to highlight the text you want to copy and then press Ctrl + 'c'. This will put a 'c' in your editbox telling you that the text is copied. Delete the C and press Ctrl + 'v' to paste the text wihtout color . Should work smile

I've never had this problem. I've always used the method that billythekid described above.
