Forums General Discussion Having Problem in login on mirc chat rooms

Hello All,
Iam using mirc for a long time but one problem which i always face is as follows:-

1) When ever i re-install my windows and all other software including mirc due to some window corruption. iam unable to understand how to select options in mirc which can help me in login on chat..
Iam using cable internet LAN...
like right now when ever i try to connect on mirc i get the following message:-

connecting to irc.dal.net (6661)
Firewall: unable to find fire wall

connecting to irc.dal.net (6662)
Firewall: unable to find fire wall

and this continues with increasing numbers of 6663, and so on..but never connects

what should i select or deselect in options to get connected

In mIRC, go to firewall options, hit the up arrow and select 'none'. Bear in mind that you might not be able to connect to dalnet straight away anyway because of the problems there at present. Try another network if this is the case, and see if you can connect.
