hello
i have been trying to put a Fserv up in mirc using the Invision Script
i'm behind a proxy ( & NaT i think ) server using port 8080
i can connect to almost all servers including DaL-Net
i can download from people and I can upload stuff ( if i'm the one sending it !! none server !! )
but when i start up a Fserv and want to connect to it from home it gives me a connetion failed - timeout ( MS-dos gives Synt_sent )
i tryed ctcp maybe that could help but it didn't
some IRC server need Ident -> could this be the problem ?
the IP it uses to connect to the Fserv isnt the IP of the computer i use ( LAN IP ) it tryes to connect to the server IP
think that is the real problem ( NaT )
but there has got to be a way
for example i can use Kazaa whitout any problems
upload en download are no ploblem
so plz plz plz plz can somebody help me out whit this
