This maybe something on my part but i dont know how it could be. I added a few sevrers to the serverlist on mIRC Since they arn't there or havn't been added to the huge list of servers yet. But here is what happens when i go to reconnect after shutting down mIRC

<08:47:02> * Connecting to Windfyre (6667)
<08:47:05> Local host: ANDREW (IP)
<08:47:07> * Unable to resolve server
<08:47:10> * Connect retry #1 Windfyre (6667)
<08:47:10> Local host: ANDREW (IP)
<08:47:13> * Unable to resolve server
<08:47:14> * Connect cancelled
<08:47:15> * Connecting to Windfyre (6667)
<08:47:15> Local host: ANDREW (IP
<08:47:18> * Unable to resolve server
<08:47:21> * Connect retry #1 Windfyre (6667)
<08:47:21> Local host: ANDREW (IP)
<08:47:23> * Unable to resolve server
<08:47:23> * Connect cancelled
<08:47:24> * Connecting to gaming.windfyre.net (6667)
<08:47:24> Local host: ANDREW (IP)
<08:47:24> -gaming.windfyre.net- *** Looking up your hostname...
<08:47:24> -gaming.windfyre.net- *** Found your hostname (cached)

This also happened on other networks as well. I dont know if its a bug or i incorrectly inputed the information into mIRC.

i may be wrong but this is what i see.

when u added the servers to the list. you may have put the name of the network in the server name field instead of the other way around. this is why it says connecting to windfyre and not something like irc.windfyre.net

i get this from what u posted
<08:47:23> * Unable to resolve server
<08:47:23> * Connect cancelled
<08:47:24> * Connecting to gaming.windfyre.net (6667)
<08:47:24> Local host: ANDREW (IP)
<08:47:24> -gaming.windfyre.net- *** Looking up your hostname...
<08:47:24> -gaming.windfyre.net- *** Found your hostname (cached)

as you can see. as mirc gets disconnected it goes to the next server in the list. which is gaming.windfyre.net
so i will assume that you typed it in correctly when inputing gaming*.
*****Double check the info u put in when u added the servers to the list.

a second idea that came to me is maybe the servers you added dont have their DNS setup/or setup correctly. try connecting the the servers' IP instead.

hope this helps. good luck smile
