Forums Bug Reports Possible /aline bug in mIRC v6.14

Hey everyone,

I was jsut messing around with some windows and I got a weird error... You can copy exactly what i did by doing this:

/window -aeil13Swx @test
-then-
/aline -l @test testtogotoslistbox

I got this error:
-
-L Unknown command
-

I saved those exact lines onto a floppy and tried it on my v6.03 on my laptop (copy/paste), and it worked just fine.

It's working fine here (6.14, 98SE).

No problems over here.

mIRC 6.14 WinXP home SP1

Going by the case change (-l to -L), and the message it looks like you may have inadvertantly left out the aline part.

No, cuz its -l not -L as the mIRC error said.. so thats what made me think it was a bug.

I'm on mIRC 6.14 Win XP Pro w/ office at 367 MHZ.

It works fine for me too.

The case change in the error is due to the fact that mIRC sends commands in capitals (so /join becomes JOIN, -l becomes -L), the server then says that the command -L doesn't exist.
