Forums mIRC Help Default Window View

Ok heres my prob, I accidently pushed the cascade button and I absolutely just hate the window size. How can I change the window view to the default view? The view when you first install mIRC?

Also, is there any way to remove those buttons? Cascade etc..

have you tried maximizing a window and clearing the window size memory via the right click on the windowname?

I just tried. Doesnt seem to work maximizing it. And sorry, but how would I clear the window size memory thing? I did rightclick on window, nothing happened.

Right click on the windowname, go to Position, and then Reset all (or any of the other options you need to use). Funny, anytime I remaximized it seemed to remember it to me (altho Ive had the same setup memorized for years now so that could have somehting to do with it)

Nope, still is in cascade mode.

so you've tried maximizing the window and it wont maximize?????? That's weird cause that should take it out of cascade view

No, it does :tongue: but i want it to go back to the view it had when I first ran mIRC.

Is tiled mode what you want?? if not, you'll have to explain further
