I like to keep my mIRC open all the time i'm at home, but it's often annoying when someone tries to reach me with 'important' news by messaging me or repeating my nick on a channel while i'm trying to watch a movie, for example.

So, i'm suggesting that you'd add a mute-button that would silence all sounds, beeps, flashes and whatever coming from mIRC. Maybe it could be used together with /away.

It would be like muting your cell phone smile
Keep up the good work with this cool piece of software!

Something like /ebeeps off maybe? wink
It won't disable flashing, but does turn sounds off.

Perhaps. Then again, he could just have it permanently disabled and if he wishes just re-enable it every now and again. It's not that inconvenient. No harm in letting him know about it either way smile

Happy helpin'

I was going to be real smart assed and tell you to turn your speakers off.

I'll just tell you to close mIRC instead.

And that's the dumbest thing I did actually. These speakers suck (their sound quality I mean). Next time they won't ever be part of the monitor again.
