is there a way to make an alt+R open a program instead of mirc editor?

far as I know you could do:

/aR //run pathname\program.exe

correct me if Im wrong tho smile

dont surprise me, but Im sure there'd be a way to do it. According to the help file that should have worked (unless I did the alias name wrong which is VERY possible)

You can only redefine Fn and Shift/Ctrl+Fn combinations.

there's a dll called sendkey dll.. you can use that too make it mimic (???) pressing those keys and remotes will open..

There is also a sendkeys snippet (no extra DLLs needed) but the Original Poster isn't looking for a way to simulate Alt+R; he wants something else to happen when those keys are pressed, and that's not possible with the current limitations.
