Hey,
Is there a way to turn off the joined channel and quit channel message off? It gets very annoying sometimes.

In mIRC Options -> IRC -> Events... (button) you can hide those events.

Plus you can turn them off or hide them for individual channel by right-clicking the switchbar button and choosing "Events"

I hided them but they still show. Even after disconnecting and reconnecting

btw i am running polaris over mirc

The script probably overides mIRCs settings. You'll have to check with the script author (or maybe it has a readme.txt or help file?) on how to hide them.

You may want to be careful if you are running Polaris - there are a lot of versions around which include "backdoors", allowing other people access to your computer.
