Is there any customizations that I can do to mIRC (from the base install) that will improve my download speeds?

/fsend on
/pdcc on
/dcc packetsize 4096

Actually, I'm working with a business vendor and we are exchanging house design ideas through AutoCAD. Those files can get REALLY big. Thanks for the help.

mIRC isn't the best medium for that ;-]

you should use ftp or something for that...
