Forums Scripts & Popups help w/ my website

hey can anybody recomend a good program for scripting html because im a beginner and notepad is a pain in the ass but you can see what i have done so far in notepad at http://c0nv3rg3nc3.tripod.com/

But try HTML-kit ([www.chami.com chami.com or smthng, if not try google) or some WYSIWYG crap like MS Frontpage...

well i know that this isnt what mirc is about but ive noticed that alot of the people on here seem to have a web page and seem to pretty good at it.

I always use ultraedit (www.ultraedit.com)
or textpad (www.textpad.com)

I prefer ultraedit because it's hex editor is better and it also has some other nice functions

I like to code my html as hard code, meaning doing it right in notepad. If you know what you are doing, you can get a much greater control of your page. I also use frontpage, for those basic coding tags and main set up of the page.

No matter hwo you cut the cake, you need to learn html to be able to do anything with it. Wether its going to places like http://www.w3schools.com/html/ or reading a book on it, you still need to have an understanding of the language. Believe it or not, there are also standards for it too. For instance, form tags must be outside of tables. If they aren't, you get a hard space at the bottom of your last form object in the cell.

Anyways, you might want to chekc out that website. It gives some good examples of code, and explains how it works.

If you don't have the time (or motivation) to sit down and learn all the code from scratch, you can get a site up-and-running quickly with html editors like FrontPage etc which are great devices for beginners - then you can learn about the coding as you go. It's all about trial and error anyway!

try editplus2, has a good highlight for several languages ( javascript, php, html, etc)
