ALT+O > DCCCheck the
"Auto-get file" button, and then click on the word 'Trusted'. Check the box saying
"Limit auto-get to trusted users" and also, for safety reasons, check the second box.
In the text box below, add the masks (preferably IP/hostnames for security) that you wish to auto-accept from.
This should
not be used in conjunction with mass file trading (i.e. XDCC Bots etc) mainly because they are known to be one of the big factors of virus spreading. Auto accepting files is stupid, and even moreso when you've been warned!
- On top of this, mIRC is NOT a file sharing program and should not be used for it. IRC means Internet Relay
Chat and should be used for exactly that.
Do not add the *!*@* mask (or it's equivalent) otherwise you're opening yourself up for infection.
