would it be possible to create a dll that could limit the area that windows can tile? for example if i made the width of the tiling area smaller i could use the extra space for a @window navigation menu. so when you go to tile your windows, they tile right next to this navigation window instead of ontop of it or underneth. i would like to have this @window, a permenent part of the script's appearance like the toolbar and switchbar. if a dll isnt the answer, does anybody have any suggestions as to how this could be done?
