There's this one twit who replies to every one of my messages, directed to him or not, with "wrong" or some such nonesense. I block him, but every time he logs back on I can see him again.
His address looks something like
user####@blah.blah.blah.blah
where user#### is something different each time. When I /ignore him, it only ignores the user#### he's known as at the time. How can I /ignore the @blah.blah.blah.blah portion?

/ignore nickname 2

This ignores the *!*@hostname/IP

If his/her hostname/IP changes too, then you may be forced to ignore his entire ISP or just ignore *!*user*@*.

You may also want to check the networks AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) usually found on their website and see if evading ignores is acceptable or not - if the AUP is a little complicated then ask an IRC Operator.

Well you've brought his host to my attention. It does change each time as well. Can you tell me how to ignore an ISP? I may be able to figure it out, but he's not on right now so I can't try anything on him.
