DCC Fileserver

Max. Fileservers
This limits the number of fileserver sessions that can be open simultaneously.

Max. DCC Gets
This limits the number of simultaneous DCC Gets a user can request.

Max. Cps
This limits the maximum cps used by all dcc sends being sent by a fileserver.

The /dcc maxcps <N> command can be used to changed the Max Cps value on the fly.

BUT is this for ordinary dcc download/upload or what?
coz i see that it mentions some file server and i looked for file server and that is something special...

so are those commands (up) for ordinary dcc or they make no difference (they only work for this fserver) ??

+ what is the differrence between /pdcc and /fsend?
and what ealue do i need to put after /pdcc ?

/pdcc on|off (for several versions now, you only use on or off, putting any value after pdcc does nothing)
If turned on, tries to speed up dcc sends by sending packets ahead of acks.

/fsend is fast send, turning it on should help speed up dcc sessions

The mIRC fileserver allows other users to access files on your hard disk, the commands you showed are only for fserv. A fileserver is initiated by using the /fserve command which initiates a DCC Chat to the specified user. You must specify a homedirectory. The user will be limited to accessing only files and directories within this homedirectory.

In mIRC, type /help dcc server protocol and notice the difference between fserv and send protocols.
