Forums mIRC Help Cannot recieve DCC with mIRC 6.12

I was using mIRC 5.xx before, and never had problems with recieving DCC.

Now that I switched to version 6.12 I can't recieve any DCC.
And yes, ignore and all that is disabled.

All I get in status is "Send: file.file"
But nothing pops up.

What's wrong?

I just asked about that in #mIRC, I had the same problem.

If you "Auto-get and minimize" your DCC Gets, goto ALT+O->DCC->Trusted button and make sure that "Limit auto-get to trusted users" isn't ticked.

No use.
Still can't recieve DCC.

Same thing over here.. it's very strange since even with mirc 6.03 i never had any probs with dcc-chats and so on, but with 6.12 i cannot establish any dcc-chat nor dcc-sends even though my settings remaining the same (i switched the .exe file only).

any suggestions are highly appreciated, thanks

same problem here. i see the dcc coming in status window but not recieving. obviously you have resolved this problem. any hit?

-try typing /sreq ask

-one person told me a dcc prob was solved by uninstalling and downloading a fresh copy of mIRC, apparently he got a bad download the first time.
