...once the registration time is up with the new version. There are litteraly TONS of other clients out there that we can use for FREE. I'll never use mIRC again, and i'm POSITIVE that loads of other people will be doing the same. As a matter of fact i'm going to tell all my friends about the free clients out there that are better than this POS. So no thanks Khaled, have a nice day.

That;s your opinion... The fact is seveal thousand (if not hundred thousand) people already have. If you want to choose another client, so be it. Have fun!

That really dosen't mean anything unless you have some concrete fact to back it up. Nor will it sway me to want to give money to something that is free elsewhere. That's hundreds of thousands of people v.s. the millions that are on IRC everyday w/o crap clients like mIRC.

No one eh? I guess the money Khaled's been living off for the past few years is fictional, the English banks seem to accept it just fine though. In that case, I'm off to cash in some magic beans at my local Nationwide branch.
If mIRC is a POS then why did you use it for the entire trial period (as you strongly implied from your first sentence), and why did you bother to come here to post that nobody would buy the client or use it after the trial period. If nobody will use mIRC after the trial period because it's shareware and a 'POS' then there'd be nobody here to read your post would there?
Does logic skip a generation in your family or did you lose it at some point after-birth?

You're not understanding... I do have concrete facts. There are over 1 million people that are signed up to the mIRC newletter that patiently await new updates and news coming from mIRC. The other thing is I don't really need to (nor would I) "sway" an airhead such as yourself into buying a piece of software. The fact is Khaled has put a lot of time and effort into mirc, and deserves a mere $20 for a lifelong license to own mIRC. Its not like MS where you pay for every release. A one time fee of $20 and you have yourself a copy (or several, as in versions) of mirc.
Personally, I think you should go find another client. You obviously are too stubborn and(or) cheap to put $20 into something thats well written, well designed, caters to your opinions, and is easy to customize.
As far as your little statistic, go ino a well populated channel on a server, and ctcp version each user. I will bet that (Atleast) 80% of them return mIRC. Just to prove your last statement wrong.

I suppose they know how imbicile they already look, and don't care at this point. They are also repeating themselves, so that doesn't improve apon their point either.
personally, If I was thinking about the whole "free irc" concept myself, then saw an idiot like them post these remarks, i'd go back to considering paying.. But thats just me.
Para, d00d, or even Khaled.. Please use that almight and powerful mod button marked [delete] >:P

oh enough is enough. If you object to paying for mIRC and want to use something else, go ahead, thats your choice. But there is no need to keep repeating the same post, or to include a lame pic.
mIRC has been shareware for a long time, and many ppl obviously DO pay for it. If you dont want to, then uninstall it and get something else to use, no one is twisting your arm to keep any software you dont want. Why you object to paying someone for their work is beyond me, but to each their own. Now do please respect other users and stop repeatedly posting the same thing. You've stated your opinion, thread closed due to your inability to control your impulses.
