There is something that I can't figure out. I downloaded
a version of mIRC (6.03){Sysres} that allows me to log in and
it automatically opens the channel that I frequent. Well all of a
sudden on my desktop and laptop when I log in all I see is
goofy character, such as line return symbols, paragraph and
other ascii type symbols. Never any words. Can any one
help me with this? I would forever be in your debt.
Thanks
confused

Maybe it's the font? Type /font and see.

Cold,
You are definately the one! Thanks for your post.
It did the trick. Why do you think my font would
just drop out like that?
Thanks again.

The only thing I could guess was Wingdings (or Webdings, or this kind of fonts) being used there. How did the weird font get there, I don't know, since there are many possibilities.. could be any crazy feature/bug from your script, could be your system missing that font.. I really don't have a clue. Anyways, in case this happens frequently, and only with this mIRC session, I'd go with the 1st one, your script difficulting things.
