Hi,

When i open a desktop dialog in mIRC 6.1, and i have a long process in the dialog init, the dialog loads, but is not visible in the windows-bar till i click on the dialog.

I found this out when loading 600 mp3's in a dialog over a local network, this takes about 10 seconds.

I asked another guy, and the problem also exists in his mIRC 6.1, he told me that you can solve it by activating the dialog after loading. That's a good work-around, but still i think its a bug, that maybe can be solved.

Greets,
Websnake

lol thats still slow  i don't really remember spending time making it load faster, but i have 2000+, and even if i add a few or reboot it still takes just a couple of seconds to load the list in the dialog. tested on mIRC 5.9 to 6.1 too.

That's just how windows works, not much you can do about it other than try to make your code faster, or create a dll to do some of the processing for you since a dll will do it faster than mIRC scripting.
