I received a question in #hjelp @ DALnet: Does the newer versions of mIRC expire so further use of the client isn't possible after the first thirty days?

No it doesn't timeout, although you will still be breaking the license agreement if you don't pay up.

For arguments sake, I would say yes. People shouldn't be asking a question like that anyways. The license says you cannot use it after 30 days, so technically--yes, it does expire.

For honesty's sake i would have to rephrase that KT. No, it isnt crippleware, so the version itself doesnt "expire" as in stop working, but your 30 day evaluation has, so you would be in violation if you continue to use it without paying for it.
