Hi, Does anyone can tell me if I can verify abt dowload process, if it works or no.

I mean if I can verify if there is a problem in my connection or the other end.

If i understand you correctly, you want to see if you can download or if the problem is on the other person's end? Prolly the easiest is to ask a few different ppl to initiate a dcc chat or send to you, if either work from at least one person, the prob isnt on your end. Also check in your status window for any error msgs you may be getting.

I assume you have checked your options to be sure you arent blocking dcc or file types? (view/options/dcc, dcc/ignore, and options/other/lock)

I have tried to connect to many persons, the ownload starts and after a couple of minutes, I will get connection timed-out, ressource unavailable, or connection reset by peer. This started to happen suddenly, 4-5 days ago, b4 everything worked fine, and I didnt change anything in my setting. I really dont know where is the problem.

have you added any new scripts? or any of those speed patches that are supposed to increase your speed?

Is this when you are sending or trying to recieve?

Its possible that your ip is incorrect, type /localinfo -u and then try. If the network you go to has a #mIRC might try hopping in there and asking one of the ops to help you test.

This happens when I am trying to receive, my sends work fine. Everything worked fine b4, I didnt cahnge anything, and suddenly I started getting problems with my dcc receive
