I registered a channel and wanted to password protect it. I went to the channel and entered the command:
/mode #channel +k password
but I get this response when I do so:
* ChanServ sets mode: -k n0k3y

Can someone help me out here?

Thanks,
Nathan

You probably should join #help on your network and ask. What is set for chanserv on one network might not be the same on the next. smile

you should identify first as the channel founder. type: /chanserv identify #channel passwd
then type this command: /chanserv SET #channel MLOCK +ntk-isplm

hope it helps... wink
