Forums mIRC Help "Power" Mac/Stuffit Expander/Getting IRC...

Hello. I have a Power Macintosh 7200/120. I tried a little over a month ago to get irc capabilities but they said I needed Stuff it Expander. I tried to get that, but it could not be installed. I haven't tried since bc my full time job has kept me too busy.

I am looking for information on how I might be able to get irc/stuffitexpander without any more difficulties. I am not a normal mac user, but not completely illiterate, either. I'm just used to PC's. This computer was donated to me, until I have $$ for my own computer.

I have the old phone connection to the internet. I am on aol 5.0. And I believe it's Mac OS 8.0. I am looking to be connected to winbolo-which uses irc to chat...

if anyone has ideas, knowledge, suggestions? I would be grateful.

mIRC is not designed for the Mac, so you will need a Mac IRC client. You can get a list of Mac IRC clients here.

You really should consider upgrading your OS, 8.0 is VERY old.
