Hello,

I am using mIRC 6.03 and seem to have an interesting problem. I set the following DCC Ports in DCC->Options:
First: 2100
Last: 2300

These need to be used to circumvent a firewall.

However, when I use netstat to display the current connections, I get connections on ports like 4599, 4500, 3405, 3468 and so on. These ports are out of the range which I specified in the options!

What is going on here? I could use some help!

Here is how I connect to the internet:
Linksys BEFCMU10 Cable Modem
Linksys 10/100 PCI Ethernet Adapter
I also completely disabled all local firewall programs.

Computer:
Windows XP SP1
HP Pavillion ZE 4145

Thanks for the help!

Well,

I took a look at that article and attempted what was suggested, however it seems that I am still recieving mIRC dcc files on random ports. Is there any way to specify the RECIEVE port (not the send)?
