Forums Bug Reports Computer sticks with XDCC Transfer

This might be a weird post, but for some reason when i receive XDCC transfers in MIRC (or other clients), the transfer hums a long for a little while but then my computer sticks as in..mouse and keyboard freeze for about 5 seconds, then they are active for maybe 2 seconds, then this just repeats so i'm forced to shut down the computer. This makes no sense as I've used it before (last semester..not over the summer).

I have a p4 2.53 ghz, 1GB ram, 120GB of hd space, windows xp

mIRC does not have any XDCC support. If you are using XDCC, then you are using a script that adds this feature; you must contact the author of that script for help, not the authors of mIRC.
