in this site i think 2 months ago khaled said in the next couple months there will be a new mirc out ... i think thats enough to say mirc is still being worked upon ...

No. What makes me say that is he's been working on it for over a year straight. (Unless he took a vacation somewhere between then and now.) Maybe future versions will only be bug updates, with no new major changes. I'm not trying to start a rumour. I thought taking this long for this version means he won't be doing another one, or doing another one anytime soon, as in terms of MAJOR upgrades.

Yes he did take a vacation, and seeing as how Khaled has not expressed any idea of retiring, only that mIRC's development will continue, I don't really see how it could be anything but a rumour.

On another note, when did he take a vacation and for how long? Or is my concept of vacation different than what he did?

If I'd been developing a program for 8 years I don't think I'd be working on it every waking moment of my life.

wow ur use of profanity makes u appear atleast 12 i hope to one day be just like u. In any event, khaled does not wok on mirc 24/7 the man has a life too. one i hope he enjoys. yes mirc is a great program but it is not the entire reason for khaleds existance. let the man enjoy life alil.

There are about 5 bugs I can think of offhand in mIRC, none of them serious.
Lazy? How many programs have you written? If mIRC is so bug-filled why not code your own IRC client since you obviously have all the answers.
You really are completely clueless.
