Here is how you reproduce it:
Open a new mIRC, type /server anyip.com
While it's connecting(this doesn't work ifs it already connected), press alt+o and quickly go to Connect and press ok. What happens is that it says on the server window, the bar, the server that was selected instead of the ip wich is connecting.

It doesn't happen here. What happens is that mIRC shows the name of the network in the titlebar, and not the ip/hostname you are connected to.
