Just a general suggestion..

Maybe adding a feature to only /remote off|on on different server connections?

Example:
Connection1 - Remote on (Ctcps,Events)
Connection2 - Remote off (Ctcps,Events,Raw)

Bleepy.

Aslong as there a switch like /remote -g on|off (global) for all connections, I dont see a problem.

not only that, offers more backwards compatability. Old scripts would still be using the same command, and newer scripts would take advantage of the new parameter.

server 1: remote off
server 2: remote on
on *:midiend:echo -s LOL

so, what happens?

server 1 and 2: off
or server 1 and 2: on
on *:midiend:echo -s LOL

what happens again?

you can disable/enable the remote server-events (read it 10 times or more, until you understand the term grin)
but, what about the OTHER remotes?

(damn i think 1% of the population will understand this post)

Im guessing you'd have to do something like (totally made up for example purposes):

if ($remote(1) == $true) { stuff }
other-stuff

That's the only way I could see it working properly (Im NOT the scripting/programming guru so Im proilly wrong)
