If you dont understand whats wrong with it by now, it would be pointless for me to try explaining again. Is your ego so large that your script has to come first and you couldnt be satisfied with leaving the version reply as Khaled wishes and adding a line to it if you feel you simply must spam your script?

Even when you are versioned, both replies are returned. Credit to you and khaled are given. I would think that would be sufficient.

yes, in my version reply i dont use haltdef. so both replies are still returned, but im being flamed for adding 2 words frown

Why not use the CTCP SCRIPT message (which is used by a fair amount of other scripts) to return your script's info. CTCP VERSION is for the IRC client's version. Some servers/channels use CTCP VERSION to do certain things, for instance tell people of a security issue in that version of the client they're using. Eliminating that ability so that you can spam your script - against the client developer's wishes - is pretty damn irresponsible.
