Forums Bug Reports 7.73.1787 - SASL + "Connect To Server" issue.

I started with a blank mirc.ini with only the following:


I used the 7.73 servers.ini file.

1, Open mIRC.
2, Edit "DALnet" server.
3, Login Method: SASL (/CAP)
4, SASL Password: fake:fake
5, Other Tab: [check] On Startup: Connect to server
6, Click OK to exit "Edit Server"
7, Click OK to exit "mIRC Options"

8, Look at the servers.ini file:

The ",01" seems to be a bug? From testing without SASL it shows up as "1".


9, Reopen the DALnet Server's Other tab:
10, BUG: Not checked.
11, [check] Connect to server
12, [check] Minimize window
13, Click OK to exit "Edit Server"
14, Click OK to exit "mIRC Options"
15, Look at servers.ini file:



Removing the SASL password and changing the Login Method back to "None" resets the server listing back to its original state.

Thanks for testing. I also found an issue with /server -a not saving the previous connect/minimize setting. Both of these issues have been fixed for the next beta.
